Mikaella and Keo - Maui Tropical Plantation Wedding

Mikaella and Keo found me at the Bridal Expo held in Honolulu about a year before their wedding. They loved their engagement photos so much they wanted to hire me on as their wedding photographer. I was so excited when they contacted me about their big day. They had told me it was going to be held in Maui at the Maui Tropical Plantation in Wailuku. I had never been to the Maui Tropical Plantation in fact had only been to Maui two times which made me a bit nervous but so very excited to explore a new location. I booked an early flight, stopped by Krispy Kreme my guilty pleasure, and went on to explore the island a bit before my 2PM start time in Makawao.

My first mission in the car exploring was to go and check out the Maui Tropical Plantation to get a feel of the place and to know where I was headed. Then I decided to head toward Lahaina and up to Honolua Bay. I didn't end up making it to Honolua Bay, I started running out of time so wanted to head back to Makawao. Once I arrived there I realized what a cute quaint town it was and wished I had more time to shop around.

All I can say is that I had an amazing full day work trip. The Maui Tropical Plantation is a gorgeous wedding location on Maui and creates many lush backgrounds for photography.
