Holly and Jeff - Waikiki Elopement

Holly and Jeff had contacted me about one month before their wedding date April 21, 2014. Jeff won a trip to Hawaii through his work, so they decided what a better way to go and elope in Hawaii and not have to deal with everything that goes into have a huge elaborate wedding. They wanted the simplicity and intimacy of a small wedding. Once I arrived at the Hilton Hawaiian Village hotel, where they were staying, Holly needed to finish up getting ready. I started off photographing details of the rings, flowers, and dress. Then we did the first look out on the balcony overlooking the hilton hawaiian village lagoon and part of downtown honolulu. Jeff was in awe and Holly was beaming with her gorgeous smile. We had about thirty minutes to kill before the limo came to pick us up so Holly decided to call her mom to break the news. She was pretty shocked, but so excited for her daughter.

The limo arrived and two of their local friends joined us, popped some champagne, and we headed off to Waialae Beach near the Kahala Hotel. It was completely empty that evening and I captured some beautiful moments.

Thank you Holly and Jeff, I felt at ease working with you and you made me feel like part of the family.
