Ala Moana Magazine Feature

Ala Moana Magazine's new Sept/Oct 2011 issue just came out. Check out the Feature fall looks that features my photography for both the Model photos and product photography. I was honored to photograph this fashion issue. Our shoot take place in a studio near Ward Avenue in Honolulu. My assistant and I arrived early and set up our lighting to make sure it was perfect before the model was done with hair and makeup. We had a huge white cove to light and it made more sense to take a small amount of space to light rather than the whole cove which wasn't needed for this shoot.

There was four looks that needed to be captured within four hours. We had hair and makeup on hand as well as stylists, a few racks of clothes, and an art director. By the end of our four hour shoot we got about ten different looks in which made for a nice range of images for the art director to choose from.
