Lanikai Beach Engagement Photographer

This engagement session took place on Lanikai Beach.  Lanikai Beach is the perfect setting you have the vibrant blue water, two picturesque islands, palm trees, white powdered sugar sand, greenery surrounding you, and outrigger canoes on the beach.  What more could you ask for?

To do a session at Lanikai Beach it is best to do a sunrise session or take photos 1 hour before the sunset.  I highly suggest this because it is a very busy beach, so you must get there early or get there when people are leaving.  

Sunrise is gorgeous because the sun comes up on the east side of the island.  It makes for some gorgeous colorful skies.  It also allows for that beautiful natural golden lighting, aka "magic hour".  Sunset is nice because the tons are soft and depending on the evening sometimes the sky turns a pink tone.  Check out the engagement photos below which were taken in the evening.  Next to post a sunrise session!
